Permit Requirements
- All person harvesting any forest or woodland product whether for personal use or resale, within the jurisdiction of the Navajo Nation, MUST posses a valid Navajo Nation forest product use or transportation permit or other proof of ownership in their possession at all times (RCMA-48-01 §2.11)
- The Navajo Forest and woodlands contain in-held scattered Individual Indian allotments. Harvesting of forest and woodland products from allotment lands will be done under guidelines provided under 25 C.F.R. § 163.26 (d) and 53 B.I.A.M. Supplement 4. B.I.A. (RCMA-48-01 § 2.71)
